The gap is the platform, not the features
TiviMate is a good Android TV player. The problem people run into is not quality, it is that the app stops at the edge of the Android world. There is no iPhone version to set things up from, no iPad version for the kitchen, and no Apple TV version for the second television.
That is why "TiviMate for Apple TV" is such a common search, and why the App Store is full of apps with similar names from unrelated developers. None of them are TiviMate.
What Jetpack IPTV does with the same playlist
Jetpack IPTV publishes on both stores: iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV on one side, Android, Android TV and Google TV on the other. The same M3U or Xtream Codes playlist works on all of them.
The practical differences you will notice moving from an Android TV player:
- Setup goes through your phone. Pair the TV with a short code or a QR code, and the playlist is sent over. No typing with a remote.
- One subscription covers the house. A TV you pair with your phone uses your phone's Boost, even when the phone is an Android and the TV is an Apple TV.
- Sharing is built in. Invite up to five people to your playlist, each with their own profile, and remove them whenever you like.

Be honest with yourself about the guide. TiviMate's layout options are deeper than ours, and if you have spent an evening arranging channel groups exactly how you like them, ours will feel simpler. We also do not sell a lifetime unlock, and we are not on Fire TV.

- On Android TV specifically, TiviMate has years of refinement and a following to match. Its 4.1 rating comes from over eight thousand ratings, which is a lot of people who kept using it.
- Its guide and layout options go deeper than ours. If you like tuning every row and column, you will find more knobs there.
- It offers a lifetime purchase alongside a subscription. We only sell a subscription.
- Fire TV is supported. Jetpack IPTV is not on Amazon's store.

Is there a TiviMate app for Apple TV?
No. TiviMate publishes for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, and there is no App Store version. Apps with similar names on the App Store are from unrelated developers, so check the developer before you install one.
Is there TiviMate for iPhone?
No. There is no iPhone or iPad version. If you want the same playlist on a phone and on a TV, you need a player that publishes on both stores.
What is the closest thing to TiviMate on Apple TV?
A player with a real program guide, catch-up and recording on tvOS. Jetpack IPTV does all three, and takes your playlist from your phone with a short code so you do not type it with the Siri Remote.
Can I use both?
Yes. They read the same playlist. Just remember your provider limits how many streams run at once, which is exactly what our stream limit setting is for.
